Aldwick Free Church (Baptist)

The first ever Brigade Open House took place on Tuesday, 13th July. 15 members of the brigade took part together with 7 leaders and 21 visitors. Everyone was encouraged to take part in the games, drama, singing and quiet time. It was a fabulous evening.

For those of us who were greatly blessed by and for anyone who missed the visit of the Watoto Children’s choir, here is a pictorial reminder of the event.

Danni and the Brigade singing group led the worship at our Parade and Family Service on Sunday, May 9th 2010 with a dynamic confession that “Our God is a Great Big God!”

On May 9th 2010 our moderator, Reverend Stuart Filby, dedicated Toby O,Connor to God during our Parade and Family service.

On May 16th 2010 our moderator, Reverend Stuart Filby, welcomed Iain Mortimer, Mo Howland and Gloria Jarvis into full membership of Aldwick Free Church.

On Sunday April 11th, three of our regular worshipers make a public declaration of their faith by going through the waters of baptism.

On February 21st 2010 our moderator, Reverend Stuart Filby, welcomed Christina Brian, Nan & Pierre Everett, Stella Filby and Marjorie Flynn into full membership of Aldwick Free Church.

Christmas Minus One is a community event that is ideally suited to your friends, neighbours and relatives and is simply the best way of spending Christmas Eve!

The Christmas story is told through a series of dramas, readings and carols. This year, it not only featured many of our young people but also several of our church families in very unfamiliar roles. Refreshments are always available!
