In 2012 ABC will host and run various courses which aim to provide support to parents and single parents of children of various ages and equip them in their family life. The courses are promised to be informal and inclusive and while they are based on Christian principles will be relevant and helpful for any parent with or without Christian faith or a church background.
Topics covered include:
• Building strong foundations
• Love in action
• Setting boundaries
• Building character
• Our long term aim
Each evening begins with a meal followed by a talk or presentation via DVD on a large screen, with opportunities for discussion in small groups and talk more openly about the topic that evening. Please note that childcare is not provided.
There is no charge for any of the parenting courses.
